We were called to a property in Ainthorpe in the gorgeous countryside on the way to Whitby to look at an area in a pub that was needing a refurbishment and a new floor.
We provided the client with all materials and the labour to fit.
- We uplifted the existing carpets and removed from site.
- Supplied brass trims to the edgings of the area and the entrance
- Supplied a duralay double stick underlay for the “double stick” system we were fitting
- Supplied a luxury tarten carpet to the area
- Supplied carpet tackifier and Fball F3 adhesives
- Supplied the labour from a team of our fitters to complete the job start to finish.
- Supplied entrance matting to two areas in a heavy duty heckmondwike matting tile.
We suggested a double stick system so the underlay would be tackified to the subfloor and the carpet stuck to the underlay with F3.
We always advise the double stick system for peace of mind, especially in places with high traffic being a busy pub.
One large join down the middle of the room ended up invisible and lots of joining around the fixed benches. Client was over the moon with the finished article and even gave the lads a free pint!
