This safety flooring transformation for a swim school in Middlesbrough is a great example of why the cheapest option isn’t always the best.
The team at Borocuda Swim School approached us following some terrible work from another flooring contractor that had resulted in a failed resin flooring and damaged subfloor, which had subsequently become a safety hazard.
After a tricky uplift that uncovered more problems, we decided that the only option was a full reboard and a new subfloor, which was then covered with 200m2 of Terrasafe H2O Ultra safety flooring.
We also made some modifications to the ramp area, building an additional staircase to improve accessibility for users.
The team were able to turn this project round in just a week, ensuring the client could get people straight back in the pool!
